Something happens to Amsterdam when the sun starts to warm up. As shigh rays make their way back on the streets, many a Amsterdammer bust windows open and radically gets their toosh outside. Bike rides are joyous, terraces are filling up, days are longer, nights are richer, and the whole city just becomes more of a flirt. Yes ladies and gentleman, spring has sprung, ever so seductively, and so we are here to celebrate. A few suggestions.
The blossoming Japanese cherry blossom trees are gracing Amsterdamse Bos with their beauty again. You (and your Instagram) dont want to miss this sight for sore eyes. Open 7 days a week, this place makes quite the picnic spot. Juice, any one?
KONINGSNACHT + DAG.
26 (night) + 27th of April
Famous for our open mindedness, Koningsdag is a day where we do our reputation justice. The whole city is celebrating, there is so much to do, see, party, buy. Having a stroll through the city is a party by itself, whether you are drawn to the stalls of people selling their stuff, drinks or food in the centre, live music, or the more serious parties in and around the city that require tickets, make sure you block this one in your agenda because you whether you want it or not you will not be able to miss it.
Not just for the kids, this one. Who is immune to the cute-factor of baby animals, and especially this season? Speaking of good energy. Oh and by the way, yoga with goats is a real thing. It happens here to. Fascinating.

The day after, Liberation day, we celebrate, and similar to Koningsdag, there will be many stages and parties in and around the city.
