ALL THESE CELEBRITIES WENT VEGAN

Going vegan is an enormous life choice, but as you know, here at The Cold Pressed Juicery, we think it is an incredibly important commitment. And a tasty one at that! Veganism is quite the hot topic at the moment, with animal product-free alternatives to traditional staples available everywhere from your favourite juiceries (like the hot steel cut oats at the CPJ!) to the Albert Heijn and more public figures proclaiming the health and ethical benefits of ditching meat and dairy.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration, we have some of our favourite celebrities on what veganism means to them.

Will.I.AM of the Black Eyed Peas went vegan in early 2018. He took to his social media channels to declare that he had joined the ‘V.gang.’ Finally, a gang we want to be a part of!

Madonna – no last name needed – may be sixty, but she sure doesn’t look it. The superstar has said that her strict vegan macrobiotic diet, consisting of cold pressed juices, fruit, vegetables and whole grains has helped keep her in the best shape of her life.

Jessica Chastain used to suffer from terribly low energy levels. However, once she adopted a vegan diet, she said, “I just had more energy than I’ve ever had in my whole life. I was just listening to what my body was telling me!”

Liam Hemsworth joined the V.gang back in early 2015 after learning about the horrors of animal mistreatment. “There are no negatives to eating like this,” he said, going on to say, “I feel nothing but positive, mentally and physically. I love it.”

Miley Cyrus started her path to veganism back in 2014, following the death of her pup Floyd. She eventually decided to go public about it in order to inspire others to make the same healthful, ethical choice.

Jared Leto and all of his bandmates from 30 Seconds to Mars are all actually strict vegans and joke that while they used to sacrifice goats before their shows, they have now “been sacrificing tofu before the shows!”

Ariana Grande sweetly says, “I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding,” when she discusses her path to veganism that began in 2013.

Jennifer Lopez is a long-time vegan and loves how it gives her loads of energy, saying, “I love that I’m eating more greens. It makes you feel so much better.” We couldn’t agree more, J. Lo.

Woody Harrelson would certainly feel right at home at The Cold Pressed Juicery, sipping on The Supernova, as he is not only a vegan but also an advocate of the raw food diet.
