Our Top Ten Underestimated Healing Products In Store

Especially in the final countdown before spring, we try to step up our health game and not cave in the last of the cold and dark days. We all are creatures of habit, and a lot of us have our go-to favourites at the Juicery to fall back on when in need of a boost. We made you a list focussing on detoxifiers, high vitamins and antioxidants, that will aid you and your body in attenuating disease and keeping you at your prime.

THE CLEANSE TEA

A biodynamic blend of a few of our favourite things/healing herbal teas. Burdock is a blood purifier, making it easier for our bodies to eliminate toxins and waste - even concerning bacteria of life-threatening disease. Both burdock and its family member dandelion are great for diabetic conditions. Dandelion works well to cleanse liver and protect the bones. Also high in antioxidants is nettle, which may sting in real life, but in tea-life does quite the opposite. It is known to treat allergies and soothe joint pain, and is also a powerful diuretic against urinary issues. Pu-erh is, of course, high in antioxidants, but also the one and only tea that is fermented before it is dried, making it very good for your gut-health. The apple is there especially for the yummy taste, because as we all know sometimes the healthiest options aren't the easiest when it comes to flavors. Worry not, the fresh sweetness binds it all together, lifts the taste and makes this tea into a delicious one.

INGREDIENTS: green apple, burdock, dandelion, nettles, pu-erh

THE TURMERIC SHOT

All hail the healthiest spice on earth. The list of benefits for turmeric is endless. Many nutritional experts will tell you, if you are going to have one supplement daily, make it turmeric. It purifies the blood and liver, it is high in iron, calcium, magnesium, as well as vitamins C and B-6, it is an anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory. It also notably promotes brain function and is proven to make it a promising treatment for diseases like Alzheimer's and cancer. The black pepper and citrus is there to help your body absorb it better (and more enjoyably).

INGREDIENTS: turmeric, orange, black pepper

THE GOLDEN TURMERIC LATTE

Since turmeric is said to be so exceptionally healthy, we like to optimally exploit the benefits and take this ingredient in whatever which way we can. When it's cold out, and you're not really feeling like a cold pressed anything, the superfood lattes are a nice and comforting way to warm up with. Especially this golden one is known to be soothing and calming, with blood-sugar-balancing cinnamon, the creaminess of our own organic home-made milk blend, and a hint of the natural sweetness of maple syrup.

INGREDIENTS: coconut milk, almond milk, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, maple syrup

THE PRO JUICE

An apple juice that takes keeping the doctor away to a whole other level. For those in the know, taking care of your gut health is an essential, but some of us aren't always aware of what is going on with our gut flora. That is why the Pro is a really easy and actually really enjoyable way of taking some extra loving care of this Very Important Part of your body. It is our natural version of Yakult, as the probiotics soothe the gut and promote healthy digestion. The fennel acts as an additional ingredient to help with allround digestion problems. Did you know that apple has surprisingly much going for it also. Talk about underrated, it is one of the most  antioxidant-rich commonly used foods, and is packed with fibre. Research has shown links to the reduced risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and asthma, and beneficial effects on Alzheimers disease and cognitive decline of aging, diabetes, weight management, bone health and internal protection from drug injury, all coming from those apples so integrated into our every day diet.

INGREDIENTS: apple, fennel, lemon, probiotics

THE IRON MAN JUICE

We love the iron man pre and post exercising. Beets are what put the iron into the Iron Man, and are known to boost physical endurance as well as rebuild your muscles after you fired out your workout. They are also full of vitamin C, which helps with the absorption of iron! How convenient. Also rich in vitamin C are the carrots and lemon in here, and the turmeric we already know is a star when it comes to healing you.

INGREDIENTS: carrot, beetroot, turmeric, lemon

THE BERRY BEAUTY BOWL

Out of all the bowls we bow to, the berry beauty is highest in antioxidants. What's special about it also is that it contains baobab, which is very high in vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium and B-complex vitamins. Also great when it comes to digestion problems, as baobab powder is high in dietary fibers and has prebiotic properties, so feeds probiotic bacteria in your gut.

INGREDIENTS: blueberries, fresh coconut, baobab, banana, coconut butter, almond milk, lemon, cinnamon, hemp seeds, toppings: raw sprouted buckwheat granola, blueberries, banana, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cinnamon

THE SUPERNOVA SMOOTHIE

Another vitamin c bomb, this tropical blend of fruits is a boost if only because of its exotic feel. To every supernova smoothie we add our supernova superfood mix. The ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogenic with an extremely wide range of mentally soothing benefits. Sea buckthorn, the leaves of a berry-ful bush often used in Chinese medicine, is a powerful antioxidant and contains many vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

INGREDIENTS: orange, pineapple, fresh coconut, dates, sea buckthorn, ashwagandha, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom

THE MATCHA BOOST BALL

Matcha is packed with antioxidants including the powerful EGCg. It is rich in chlorophyll, the green plant pigment that heals and detoxifies effectively and naturally. The humble amount of caffeine it contains seems to always just hit the spot, as it is sufficient to boost metabolism, enhance your mood and aid in concentration, but does not leave you peak-crash-ing. Combined with the rest of the ingredients, the matcha boost ball also provides vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium and lowers cholesterol and blood sugar.

INGREDIENTS: matcha, almonds, cardamom, lime, dates, vanilla, lemon

THE CAULIFLOWER & LIMA BEAN SOUP WITH QUINOA SOUP & RED PEPPER OIL

We should not underestimate the power of the cauliflower, which can sometimes get overshadowed by its green cousins broccoli or kale. That doesn’t do justice to a vegetable that houses such a special combination of phytonutrients, at least as many as other green members of the cruciferous vegetable fam. One cup of cauliflower contains 73% of your recommended daily intake of vitamin C. It is high in antioxidants and fights inflammation at the foundation, operating at a genetic level. Cauliflower can reduce the risk of different types of cancer, especially breast cancer. It is chemo preventive, stalling early phases of cancer cell development and tumor growth.

INGREDIENTS: Cauliflower, lima beans, onion, garlic, vegetable stock, lemon, Himalayan salt, cold pressed olive oil, red quinoa, paprika

THE RAW HUMMUS WRAP

It is not for nothing that sandwiches are so often so popular. They are compact and convenient, and so versatile they can still each and every savory cravings. Our raw and healthy version makes for the best substitute when it comes to high-fibre filling you up while serving you all the right nutrients. What makes this so much healthier is the fact that the nutrients are all still intact, as none of them are lost in the process of preparing or cooking it. The wrap is made of solely seeds and veggies, so that's gluten-free, raw-vegan galore. A sandwich at its most natural and pure form.
