MIDDLE EASTERN TABBOULEH SALAD WITH TAHINI ORANGE

Ingredients:

spinach/kale, quinoa, tomato, cucumber, chickpeas, shallot, red onion, mint, garlic, olive oil, lemon, cardamom, cumin, sesame seed, orange, apple vinegar, tamari, sesame oil, maple syrup, black pepper, coriander, himalayan salt

Benefits:

This one provides all the healthy fats and complex carbs. Seen it is also packed with fibre from the greens and plant-based protein from the peas and quinoa, it serves as the perfect whole package. Did you know quinoa is known as a 'pseudo-grain' as it is actually a seed? Popular under all the health-concious, it provides all the nine amino acids and is very high in vitamins and minerals.

Taste:

This is like a citrussy, rawer version of something straight from the traditional tajine cuisine. The herbs add a sublte complexity but as a whole it stays fresh and light. A beautiful composition of deeper flavours.

MEXICAN BURRITO SALAD

Ingredients:

Avocado, romaine, quinoa, black beans, corn, walnuts, red onion, tomato, paprika, lime, jalapeno, olive oil, tamari, cumin, chili powder, himalayan salt

Benefits:

Most substantial this one. Avocado is very nutritious as it carries over 20 vitamins and minerals, more fosfor than banana, and heart-healthy fatty acids. Walnuts contain these healthy fats too, and out of all nuts, are probably one of the most nutritious. They are proper brain-food too. Black beans help regulate blood sugar and, next to the corn and veggies, make it light to digest.

Taste:

This is the one and only dish in our fridge where avo shows up, so we made sure you won't miss it. You won't. Next to that creamy, this jar is filled with all the crisp and the crunch and also the kick of your favourite burrito, but better, because yes, healthy.

        GONE NUTS ASIAN KELP NOODLE

        Ingredients:

Kelp noodles, red pepper, cucumber, carrot, spring onion, black sesame, ginger, almonds, cashew, chilipowder, lime, tamara, applevinager, oliveoil, ahornsirop, sesame oil

        Benefits:

This salad is generally highest in protein. What makes it so very special is the kelp factor. Kelp is a type of seaweed that can be used, when prepared properly, as a noodle. It is popular because of its wide and high variety of nutrients, in combination with being extremily low in carbs. One serving contains 7 calories! Thank you mother earth.

        Taste:

The fresh, healthified version of your favourite asian fusion dish. Sometimes kelp noodles come very chewy, but we make sure ours are nicely soft and tender. Since the noodles are so extremily low in calories, you can see we had some extra space for the richness of the sauce. The almonds and cashews weirdly seem to mimick the more traditional peanuts often present in asian dishes, but better, and generally the taste comes in a typically Asian love-triangle of sour, sweet and spicy.
